Your details,looked after.

Our promise

We never sell your data. We never collect or keep it for marketing or advertising. We never share it with third parties.

The only information we hold is what we need to run your bookings and invoice for our work. The only outside companies that handle it are the providers that run our website and email (listed below), and they handle it only to provide that service to us.

JMCC Hospitality Consulting (ABN 36 695 463 023) is a hospitality consultancy based in Far North Queensland. This page explains what personal information we collect, why, where it's kept and how you can see, correct or delete it. We keep it to what we need to run bookings and invoice for our work.

What we collect

If you only visit the website: nothing that identifies you. The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes basic technical data such as your IP address to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

If you use the Client Zone (venues we work with), we hold:

  • your name, mobile number and, if you give it to us, your email address
  • the venues you can book for
  • a scrambled (hashed) copy of your PIN; nobody, including us, can read your actual PIN
  • the shifts you request, change or cancel: date, times, breaks, the notes you add and the charity you choose
  • a record of who changed each booking and when, and a copy of each email we send you
  • when you last logged in, and short-term records of failed logins (by mobile number and IP address) so we can lock out repeated guessing

About venues, we also keep business details you give us: the venue address, the names, numbers and emails of your main, secondary and accounts contacts, the agreed rate and how you pay. These are only visible to JMCC, never in the Client Zone. We never collect card or bank details through the website.

Why we use it

  • to let you log in and see your venue's bookings
  • to confirm, change or decline shifts, and email you about them
  • to invoice for work and keep the records a business must keep for tax
  • to donate the first 30 minutes of each shift to the charity you choose (the charity is told nothing about you)
  • to keep the Client Zone secure

As above: we never sell your information or use it for marketing or advertising, and it's never shared with anyone except the service providers below, who handle it only to run the website and email for us.

Where it's kept and who helps us

  • Cloudflare hosts the website and the Client Zone database, and runs the "are you human" check on the login form (Turnstile). Cloudflare's network is worldwide, so data may be processed outside Australia.
  • Resend sends Client Zone emails from bookings@jmcc.com.au. Resend is based in the United States, so the email address, name and shift details in an email pass through its servers.
  • Microsoft 365 holds our business email, including any email you send us.
  • Bookings are also copied to JMCC's own private scheduling app so we can manage our calendar.

Each of these providers has its own privacy and security terms. Access to the admin side of the Client Zone is limited to JMCC and protected by a separate login.

Cookies and storage

The Client Zone uses one essential cookie to keep you logged in (for 8 hours, or 30 days if you tick "Remember this phone"). If you book for more than one venue, your browser remembers the last venue you picked. The site also remembers, for your visit only, that its intro animation has already played. None of this is used for tracking.

How long we keep it

Booking and invoicing records are kept for at least five years, as Australian tax law requires, then deleted. If you stop using the Client Zone, we deactivate your login straight away and can delete your contact details on request, keeping only what those records need. Failed-login records are deleted after a day.

Seeing, correcting or deleting your information

Email info@jmcc.com.au and we'll tell you what we hold, fix anything that's wrong, or delete what we don't need to keep. We'll reply within 30 days. You can also write to us at PO Box 599, Mossman QLD 4873.

If you're not happy with how we've handled a privacy concern, tell us first and we'll try to put it right. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes

If we change how we handle personal information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
